This was an unexpected honor and an affirmation that Hooktown Holiday's is recognized by our leaders as an organization that will make an impact on our community.  Pam Matve from the Warren County Commissioners office presents a $200 check to Hooktown Holiday's Secretary Jeff McKown to assist the organization in continuing its good work throughout the community. The funding was provided through the Joseph Defrees discretionary account.

I'm very happy and proud to announce that our website is now on line. When we first started  Hooktown Holidays, we had no idea that we would grow so quickly. We've been able to help many of our neighbors in need over the past three years and our plan is to continue that success in to the future. In those three years Hooktown Holiday's members have donated over $32,000.00 to our community.

Our new website will help you get to know what our organization is all about and how you can get involved. You can contribute by donating, attending events or volunteering to help. I want to emphasize that every penny that is donated to Hooktown Holiday's is returned to the community. All of our board members are volunteers and we are completely board-funded.

Our fundraising goal for 2016 is $28,000.00. We are confident that we will reach that goal thanks to the generosity of many people...current and former Hooktown residents, other wonderful  Warren neighbors and friends, our local businesses and foundations and more.  The board members and I want to express our deep gratitude for your amazing support.
