It's been a while since I've shared news from Hooktown Holiday's. Rest assured that we have been busy following through on our mission. Here are some updates to what we've been doing with your help and support.
Salvaged Cars: We received two more junk car donations this past month. Keep in mind that the entire amount that we receive for a vehicle is given back to the community through the organizations we support. Please let your family, friends and neighbors know about our FREE service to remove unwanted vehicles. We'll tow the car and provide a tax receipt for the amount we get for it.
Food Pantry Support: The Food Pantry at the First Church of the Nazarene has experienced sustained growth resulting in 120 families receiving nutritional support from this facility every week. This growth has resulted in a need for additional funding to provide protein based food items.
Jeff McKown, Hooktown Holidays’ Vice President, (pictured 2nd from left) presents a $2,000 certificate to be used at the Warren Shurfine market to assist with this need. Accepting the certificate are Carol Munson, Sandy Bowen, Dave Snyder, Jim Swanson, and Rick Thompson.

Many Thanks!
Terry
