“The vast majority of citizens in Warren County have no conception of the poverty within our borders,” said Commissioner Kafferlin. “We need to stop turning a blind eye to our community.” The need is real and, as Commissioner Kafferlin pointed out, that need is largely unseen.
Since 2013 Hooktown Holidays Inc. and it’s supporters, with a mission to provide nutritious food, warm clothing and other basic necessities of life, have had their eyes wide open with regards to the very issue of which Commissioner Kafferlin speaks.
You can make a difference in Warren County regarding the effects of local poverty by making a tax deductible donation to Hooktown Holidays Inc. by visiting our website - www.hooktownholidays.org - or our Facebook Page. I am asking you please as we enter our 6th year; help us help those in our community who are strug-gling for the basic necessities of life we all deserve. I promise you will never regret your decision.
Thank you.
