Treasurer Alethea Hatfield prepares checks to go to local agencies that support our mission to provide nutritious food, warm clothing, and other necessities of life to children, families and other individuals in need in our community. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters in 2020, total donations amount to over $11,000.00. Agencies receiving donations are: Produce Express, Experience Inc., St. Joseph's Soup Kitchen, The Sharing Place, The Salvation Army, A Safe Place, The Veterans Emergency Fund, KIN (kids in need), NW/Second Harvest, Shop with a Cop and The Tidioute Charter School. Hooktown Holiday’s is a local grassroots 501(c)(3) charity serving Warren County now for 8 eight years helping our neighbors in need. This is what we do. It is the only thing we do. We believe it is the right thing to do 365 days a year. Thank you for your support.

The donation comes from Hooktown Holidays, Inc., a community service organization serving Warren County. The food bank will cost nothing for students and will include items such as food, laundry detergent, band-aids, and feminine products among other basic necessities that the students may be in need of at home..." Two for Academic Schools and one for a Trade School. The Hooktown Holidays Scholarships are $1,000. each. $500 additional is added after a 3.0 GPA is achieved the first semester. Upon achieving the Dean’s List, a one-time addition of $250 will be awarded, totaling $1,750. Hooktown Holidays board members recently awarded scholarships for 2018. This will be our 5th Annual Hooktown Holidays Garage Sale! It will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018. This year the sale will move back into the Hooktown Neighborhood in order to enjoy that good old fashioned fun garage sale atmosphere. I'll post more details later on. Until then, you can help make this sale the best ever. Are you minimizing, downsizing, replacing, moving and want to easily get rid of all the useable things you've accumulated but no longer need or want? Please donate them to our Hooktown Holidays Garage Sale! You can deliver it to us at 1201 Conewango Avenue, Warren, PA or call us at 814.688.9979 and we will come to you to pick up your donations. We are lucky to have expanded storage facilities so we can accommodate many more "treasures" for this year's sale. Upon achieving the Dean’s List, a one-time addition of $250 is awarded, bringing the total amount to $1,750. The 2017 Hooktown Holidays Scholarship for academics was awarded to Jessica Mack. We are happy and proud to say that Jessica excelled at school and met the criteria to not just receive the initial amount but also the additional funds. Achieving both the 3.0 GPA and be placed on the Dean's list. Congratulations Jessica! Well done!
